Friday, April 25, 2025, city staff, local businesses and community organizations joined forces to clean up trash in our area, making a powerful and visible impact across Commerce City.

2025 Event Details

• Date: Friday, April 25, 2025
• Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• Location: Kickoff gathering and light breakfast at Fairfax Park
  • Check-in: 8:30 - 9 a.m.
  • Welcome remarks: 9 a.m.
  • Disperse to cleanup sites along various city roadways: 9:15 a.m.
  • Cleanups begin: 9:30 a.m.

The MyC3 Day of Service is all about fostering civic pride and community engagement. By joining forces, we aim to remove trash, litter, and debris from key roadways and transportation corridors throughout Commerce City. This initiative not only helps tidy up our shared spaces but also strengthens our community bonds and demonstrates our collective dedication to the environment. By working together, we hope to create a more vibrant, welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy.

It's important to note that this event specifically targets the removal of trash and debris. We won't be handling landscaping, mowing, or encampment clean-up projects. Instead, our focus is on enhancing cleanliness in areas that need it most—those heavily traveled corridors prone to litter accumulation.

We welcome businesses eager to make a difference! If you're interested in participating, please fill out our Business Registration Form to ensure all necessary details are covered and you're ready to join us on the big day.

Please note the following:

• Proper working attire will be required, including close-toed shoes and clothes that cover your arms and legs for the safety of all participants.
• You are responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the worksites.
• You are or will be at least 18 years of age by April 25, 2025.

Residents

Residents are encouraged to take part in our extensive trash and recycling program, especially the four free landfill days with Republic Services.
