The zoning board of adjustment was established by Ordinance 1016.

Mission

The zoning board of adjustment’s purpose is to hear and determine appeals from refusals of building permits, to permit exceptions to or variations from the zoning ordinance, and issue special permits and make conditional grants for use of property.

Meetings

The zoning board of adjustment meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 PM with the public invited to attend in the Civic Center.
